A Second Course in Probability

Sheldon M. Ross and Erol A. Peköz

Hardcover: 192 pages
Publisher: Cambridge University Press (2023)
ISBN-13: 978-1009179911

A Second Course in Probability by Sheldon M. Ross and Erol A. Peköz was first published in 2003, and a second edition was published in 2023. Since I have not looked at the first edition, I will not comment on the differences and will only reflect on my linear reading of the book and my reactions as a potential teacher. As a general perspective, I think it would be deemed too informal for third-year undergraduate students at Paris Dauphine University who are taught measure theory and abstract probability as a compulsory course.
