Since I had to review both Wilkinson (2011) and Tu and Gilthorpe (2011) in the same period, I found interesting to propose a comparative review. Indeed, due to their common topic (roughly “statistics for biologists”) they will surely end up on the same shelf of any bookstore or library but offer radically different points of view.
