The Blindside Project: Measuring the Impact of Individual Offensive Linemen

During the 2010 NFL season, the New England Patriots’ quarterback (QB), Tom Brady, was selected as the unanimous MVP of the league. He posted impressive numbers, including 36 touchdowns (TD) and four interceptions. In the history of the NFL, there have been only eight QBs who have thrown for more than 30 TDs and fewer than 10 interceptions in a season; the next lowest interception total in that group is seven (Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers both accomplished this during the 2009 season).
