This issue’s puzzle was composed in my home city of Vancouver, British Columbia, as we prepared to “Welcome the World” to the 2010 Winter Olympics. In the spirit of “welcoming the world, this puzzle is actually five smaller puzzles, each a cryptic five-square of 10 words.
