Reflections on the IDEA Forum—Statistics, Climate Change, and Sustainability
On November 18, 2022, the ASA Board of Directors virtually hosted the first Influencing Discovery Exploration & Action (IDEA) Forum, which is planned to be an annual event. The IDEA Forum is sponsored by the ASA Leadership Institute and aims to bring together leaders, policymakers, and statisticians to create solutions for problems facing the world community. The inaugural IDEA Forum 2022 focused on climate change to discuss the challenges and areas of research.
