Statistical Modeling of Sleep

Between 50 million and 70 million Americans have some form of chronic sleep disorder that makes them more vulnerable to accidents and disease, degrading their quality of life. It has been shown that quality of sleep affects a person’s health and sense of well-being. Poor sleep can have a negative effect on mental and physical characteristics, as well as on social interaction. Hence, the impact of sleep disorders and lack of sleep can be detrimental to job performance.
