AMADO-online was developed by Nguyen-Khang Pham of the Can Tho University College of Information and Communication Technology in Vietnam and Jean-Hugues Chauchat of the Lyon-2 University ERIC Laboratory in France as part of the Paris Time Machine project (PTM).
PTM is a consortium of 14 university laboratories and public services aimed at creating a geohistorical repository enabling social science researchers (e.g., history, archaeology, sociology, geography, political science) to work together on a common geographical spaceāthe Paris region in this case. These methods and tools are intended to be replicated in other cities.
